Public-Private Partnerships

Doradca has built its reputation as an expert company in the field of Public-Private Partnership, being active in this area since mid-ninieties. This involvement has been reflected in a number of publications, most notably: Jarosław Zysnarski, Partnerstwo publiczno-prywatne. Praktyczny poradnik partnerstwa (Private-public partnership. A practical handbook), Gdansk 2016 as well as in numerous articles and conference papers. In the framework of PPP projects we have assisted public partners – mainly municipalities, but in some cases also private entities, dealing with institutional and financial issues, providing risk assessment and allocation analyses, cost-benefit analyses, and negotiation support. In addition, Doradca is a member of PPP Centre – a  foundation responsible for the dissemination of best practices, development of standards and procedures for PPP projects.

Selected examples of PPP projects implemented with Doradca participation:

  • Development of a downtown area (Centrum Haffnera) in Sopot – the first project of this kind in Poland
  • Development of Targ Sienny and Targ Rakowy in Gdansk – today this project is known as Forum Gdańsk
  • Development of Granary Island (Wyspa Spichrzów) in Gdansk
  • Construction of underground car parks in Gdańsk
  • Development of railway station in Sopot
